<p>All small businesses need a referral system. In internet marketing we call it an affiliate program and in most service businesses it is call a referral program.</p>
<p>You can and should encourage your customers and clients to bring customers to your business. Satisfied customers are happy to help you grow your business by referring you to others but they will not think about doing so on their own.</p>
<p>You must ask them and offering a reward does not hurt either. Think about how much you enjoy it when a business gives you something in response for supporting their growth by making a referral.</p>
<p>The Power of a Referral<br />
You can talk about how great you are all day long but nothing speaks louder than when someone else talks about how wonderful you are. A great referral is a powerful resource that can sway almost any customer. It is hard to beat a testimonial or a referral from a customer that has experienced your services and had a great experience that they want to share.</p>
<p>A satisfied customer singing your praises to another customer is perhaps the most compelling forms of advertising you can get and it is free! The referral cycle is self perpetuating because the person that gives your business a referral becomes invested in the success of your business so they are likely to give more referrals and referrals have a far higher sales rate than cold calls. There is no better way to increase sales without increasing expenses than referral marketing.</p>
<p>Plan to Get Referrals<br />
You must have a plan in order to get referrals at a high rate. Great customer service is essential to getting referrals but it will not insure referrals. Building your businesses referral rate requires planning, strategy and tactics.</p>
<p>Many coaches assume that when their clients see results that they will want to refer them to others but that is not how it works. You must encourage customers to make referrals for you. They may not have thought of referring you to someone else until you ask. Once a satisfied customer is aware that you would like them to help you and your business with referrals they are usually more than happy to do so.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t make the mistake of thinking that it is an idea that will pop into their mind without you asking for the referral and having a plan to make it easy for them to refer you.</p>

<p>Let’s talk about specifically how to get a large number of targeted followers on Twitter. An easy way to get followers that are interested in your target coaching niche is to steal them from thought leaders in your niche. For example if your niche is the law of attraction then you might want to search for a thought leader in that area like Joe Vitale and follow the people who follow him. When you click on followers on the thought leader’s home page then you will get a list of all the people that follow that person. All you have to do is follow those people because they will likely have an interest in you and what you have to offer.</p>
<p>I always review each person that follows me or follows me back to make sure that they are a person that has interest in my niche. If they do seem like a potential client then I send them<img title="More..." src="http://www.zeeinnercircle.com/members/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/img/trans.gif" alt="" /> a direct message that offers them a free eCourse. Of course they have to opt-in to my list to get that free eCourse and that is how I bring potential clients to my list from Twitter.</p>

Most coaches spend time getting a fancy logo designed, designing a website, getting business cards printed and writing brochures thinking all these things are necessary before they begin to market their business. I suggest that you begin by conducting live workshops in your local market. Later you can modify these workshops to become online workshop or online courses. <p>You must allow time for your business to grow and become profitable and you want to make sure that you are able to cover your expenses during this period of initial growth. <p>Keeping Reserve Funds<br />
When you are  starting a coaching business you should have enough cash to cover three months of living and business expenses. A new coach needs six months in reserve or a part-time supplemental income. If you are currently working a full time job and starting your coaching business then I suggest that you save all of your coaching income until you have the six months living expenses in reserve.</p>
<p>Having these funds to fall back on takes the pressure off and allows you to focus on coaching and attraction marketing. If you are desperate for coaching clients so that you can pay your rent then it will show when you are working with clients. <p>Become and member and an observer to listen to them and find out what their greatest challenges are and what goals they have. </p>
<p>You want to search out groups and forums that are relevant to and filled with people in your target coaching niche. Once again we will turn to Google. You can search in groups under Google or you can type your niche followed by group or forum and search. You will find several groups to join that way. You do want to join the groups so that you can get into the discussion and see what people are talking about as well as add to the discussions.</p>
<p>Monitoring these groups will help you zero in on the issues that are of the greatest interest to potential clients in your target coaching niche. Pay particular attention to the things that challenge people in your target coaching niche especially the topic that come up repeatedly. There will almost always be three topics that people bring up time and time again.</p>
<p>You next job is to discover all you can about possible solutions to these problems. Making note of the problems and possible solutions then developing common issues that could have common solution is a good way to begin creating systems and programs to help people in your target coaching niche.</p>

<p>Often I have coaches come to me when their coaching business has stopped growing or they want to reach a goal and they have not been able to get past some road blocks.</p>
<p>Most people are surprised when I begin to ask question about how they could be limiting their own success. Most of the time when we feel limited we look to outside factors such as other people, the economy, competition and an array of other things.</p>
<p>Seldom do we look at how we could be causing our own limitations without recognizing it. The fact is that we cannot control most outside factors but we can control our perception and our response.</p>
<p>You can also control what you are thinking once you are aware of your thought. You can focus your thinking on what you desire to happen and the steps you will take to create the outcome you desire.</p>
<p>Fear of success</p>
<p>I know you are probably thinking &#8220;who would have fear of success&#8221;. Well, if you are not having the success you desire in your internet business then you could be having fear of success.</p>
<p>Fear of success is actually the feeling that you are not deserving of success. Usually fear of success is rooted in a false belief that we acquired in our early years and our family or close friends. These beliefs can come to us overtly or subtly.</p>
<p>Some of us had people telling us we were no good or that we would never make anything of ourselves. Others got the idea that other people always did better than we did. I had the idea that I would never be able to achieve as much as my brilliant father had. What a lie that turned out to be.</p>
<p>Almost everyone has these types of limiting beliefs and most people never recognize it. It really does not matter where the belief originated but it is important to take the time to contemplate what limiting belief you may have.</p>
<p>The point is that we have to recognize these limitations before we can change them. So give some thought to the false beliefs that could be holding you back from achieving success greater than you have ever dreamed of.</p>
<p>The next step is to refocus your thinking on what you want and the steps you will take to make it happen. I suggest you visualize already achieving the outcome you desire and feeling what it will feel like when you have reach that goal. Allow yourself to feel every feeling you will feel once you have achieved the goal and focus on those positive feelings.</p>
<p>Make it a daily practice to project yourself into that place of success and feel those feelings of satisfaction. By actually placing yourself in that place in your mind you are training you subconscious mind to take you there.</p>

<p>Nothing absolutely nothing happens until you take action.<br />
That seems like a simple and logical statement but apparently it is not because most people don&#8217;t take the actions necessary to be successful on the internet. Do you treat your internet coaching business like a business or a hobby?</p>
<p>Here are some of the things I do to make sure I dedicate the necessary time and energy necessary to make my business a success.<br />
I have scheduled work times.</p>
<p>I have a weekly plan for the repetitive tasks that I need to do.<br />
I have a place where I work that is designed to support my work.<br />
I turn off all distractions like TV, cell phone, and email when I am creating products.<br />
I have a marketing plan and a business plan.<br />
I set goals and measure my accomplishments.</p>
<p>In order to be successful you must set long and short term goals then measure you accomplishments against those goals. If you are not setting and achieving goals then you may have some fear that you are not completely aware of.</p>
<p>Fear- Now if you are not doing these things then why not? Let me suggest fear.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at fear. All fear is a fear of a feeling, either mental feeling or physical feeling. Now in the internet marketing business we don&#8217;t come across many physical fears so I suggest that mental fears are holding you back from achieving success in your business. The best way to overcome fears is to identify them. When you recognize a fear it loses its power and soon vanishes.</p>
<p>Fear of failure</p>
<p>Fear of failure is a huge problem for many people. Many people will not even try something for fear that they may fail. Well, let&#8217;s just take care of that one right now…you will fail! You may even fail repeatedly. I certainly have failed many times.</p>
<p>Failing is how we learn what to do to succeed. Would you tell a toddler who was learning to walk to stop trying just because they fell down once? No, because you know that the toddler will have to try many times before they will walk successfully.</p>
<p>You are bigger and you are older but you are not that much different than that toddler. I know I was barely crawling when I started my internet business. Soon I began to take a few steps forward and I fell backward many times. Heck, I still fall down all the time but I get up, figure out what I need to do different and try again until I succeed. People who quit or don&#8217;t start always fail.</p>
<p>You have to fail in order to learn. That is just the process of learning so I don&#8217;t know why it is that we were all taught it was not OK to fail. It is admirable to fail as long as you learn from it and try again.</p>
<p>So hurry up start failing so you can succeed!</p>
