			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>All small businesses need a referral system. In internet marketing we call it an affiliate program and in most service businesses it is call a referral program.</p>
<p>You can and should encourage your customers and clients to bring customers to your business. Satisfied customers are happy to help you grow your business by referring you to others but they will not think about doing so on their own.</p>
<p>You must ask them and offering a reward does not hurt either. Think about how much you enjoy it when a business gives you something in response for supporting their growth by making a referral.</p>
<p>The Power of a Referral<br />
You can talk about how great you are all day long but nothing speaks louder than when someone else talks about how wonderful you are. A great referral is a powerful resource that can sway almost any customer. It is hard to beat a testimonial or a referral from a customer that has experienced your services and had a great experience that they want to share.</p>
<p>A satisfied customer singing your praises to another customer is perhaps the most compelling forms of advertising you can get and it is free! The referral cycle is self perpetuating because the person that gives your business a referral becomes invested in the success of your business so they are likely to give more referrals and referrals have a far higher sales rate than cold calls. There is no better way to increase sales without increasing expenses than referral marketing.</p>
<p>Plan to Get Referrals<br />
You must have a plan in order to get referrals at a high rate. Great customer service is essential to getting referrals but it will not insure referrals. Building your businesses referral rate requires planning, strategy and tactics.</p>
<p>Many coaches assume that when their clients see results that they will want to refer them to others but that is not how it works. You must encourage customers to make referrals for you. They may not have thought of referring you to someone else until you ask. Once a satisfied customer is aware that you would like them to help you and your business with referrals they are usually more than happy to do so.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t make the mistake of thinking that it is an idea that will pop into their mind without you asking for the referral and having a plan to make it easy for them to refer you.</p>

<p>Let’s talk about specifically how to get a large number of targeted followers on Twitter. An easy way to get followers that are interested in your target coaching niche is to steal them from thought leaders in your niche. For example if your niche is the law of attraction then you might want to search for a thought leader in that area like Joe Vitale and follow the people who follow him. When you click on followers on the thought leader’s home page then you will get a list of all the people that follow that person. All you have to do is follow those people because they will likely have an interest in you and what you have to offer.</p>
<p>I always review each person that follows me or follows me back to make sure that they are a person that has interest in my niche. If they do seem like a potential client then I send them<img title="More..." src="http://www.zeeinnercircle.com/members/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/img/trans.gif" alt="" /> a direct message that offers them a free eCourse. Of course they have to opt-in to my list to get that free eCourse and that is how I bring potential clients to my list from Twitter.</p>

<p>I also often put out a tweet that is a golden nugget of information from one of my blog posts or articles and includes a link to that post or article so that I can encourage people on Twitter to visit my articles and blog posts.</p>

I suggest that you begin by conducting live workshops in your local market. Later you can modify these workshops to become online workshop or online courses. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is difficult to see a client or anyone else in pain and not want to find an immediate solution but as coaches we must resist that desire. Our goal is to help clients find their own solution and learn the process of problem solving along the way.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t coach your client to find a solution.</p>
<p>Coaches want to help people and because we want that we tend to coach people toward a solution right off the bat. Doing this is not the best way to help your client and it usually will not result in you getting a new coaching client. When you coach toward a solution right away several undesirable things can happen. You may coach them to a solution that does not suit them because you have not spent time finding out what their true needs are. So they choose not to coach with you because your solution does not work for them. You could coach them to the perfect solution and their problem is solved so they don&#8217;t feel they need to continue coaching with you. They don&#8217;t see enough value from the time they spent with you because you have not made them hungry enough for help.</p>

There is truth in this statement but this is one case that size alone is not all that matters. To get coaching clients you need a large and responsive list.</p>
<p>You want to have as many people as possible on your opt-in list and you would like all of those people to be as responsive as possible. Responsive means that they buy what you want them to buy or do what you ask them to do like go to a specific webpage. A responsive list is one that is interested in what you have to offer. They want to be on your list because you continue to offer products and information that they desire. They are people that want to hear from you on a regular basis. This is a list that will help you get coaching clients.</p>
<p>Forums<br />
Forums are places on the internet where people who have similar interests gather to discuss issues and subjects that are relevant to them. People in forums are looking to have discussions with others who they can share with and learn from. Every forum is different and they each have different rules so be sure that you follow the rules and the protocol of the particular forum that you are participating in.</p>
