Get Coaching Clients and Blog Traffic by Adding Value and Input
December 10, 2009
Many coaches have told me that getting traffic to their blog or blog traffic is a complete mystery to them. Coaches want to grow their coaching business and they want to learn how to get quality traffic to their blog and develop a list of potential coaching clients not just tire kickers. Driving traffic to your blog will help you get coaching clients.
First, let me say that blog traffic is essential to the growth of your list and your coaching business online. You must have a list of people who are interested in your niche and are potential coaching clients who will become customers. You blog is great for communicating your information but to have a successful coaching business your blog must also be great at converting readers into customers if you want to get coaching clients.
Repurposing Your Content Makes it Easy
Repurposing your blog post into articles is one of the best and most efficient ways to create content that will attract readers to you blog for more information that will be of interest to them. Use the resource box in your article submission to direct readers to other blog posts or to invite them to join your list to receive a special report or some other irresistible offer. You have to invite people to your blog using your articles if you want to increase your blog traffic.
Resource Box for Articles
A well written resource box that invites your readers to explore further and to submit their name and email address in exchange for valuable information will serve your coaching business well. Once a reader has been added to your client list you can continue to stay in touch with them and deliver more valuable information as well as make more offers.
Write in Other People Comment Boxes
If you are looking to increase your blog traffic then it is quite obvious that you don’t currently have a lot of traffic so you want to go to the blog of a thought leader in your target coaching niche.
Think about it a major thought leader in your target coaching niche is going to have a ton of traffic. Much more than your own blog will. So read the blog posts of thought leaders in your target coaching niche. Almost all blogs allow you to leave comments. Sometimes the blog owner will moderate the comments but you can almost always leave a comment.
Add to the discussion by sharing some of your knowledge without being self promoting. You want to be a resource for people not a self promoter. You can add content or comments that will add value to the lives of the reader. At the end of your comment you can sign with your name and your URL. Do this in the body of the comment even if they provide another place to include this information. This will ensure that the information is printed on the blog itself and will increase your blog traffic.
Driving traffic to your blog takes time, work and consistency. Keep at it and you will have mass amounts of traffic and many more coaching session.
