Increase Your Coaching Income with Products

April 14, 2009

You can dramatically increase your coaching income and provide
practical and affordable solutions to you target coaching niche by creating products. There are only
twenty four hours in one day limiting in the number of clients you
can coach so you must find other income generating resources to increase your
coaching income without increasing the number of hour you are working. Coaching
information products provide you with another source of revenue while
providing more coaching clients with resources to make the changes they desire.

Product
development is a creative process that can be broken down into steps so that
any coach can create helpful coaching products to serve their target niche
market. You don’t have to be a creative genius to develop coaching products all
you have to do

is follow these steps. Don't worry you can do this. If you can write articles then you can develop products.

Define the Problems to be Solved

Solving the
correct problems is the first step to developing a product that will be valuable
to your target coaching niche. Start by determining the three most serious, irritating
and troubling problems your target coaching niche faces. These must be
challenges or problems that your target coaching niche is eager and willing to
solve. To do this you must have a clearly defined target coaching niche and you must know they keywords for that target. If you have not completely define your target coaching niche you can use the niche evaluator in the "Coaching Business Blast Off" home study program.

How frequent and costly are these
problems

You target
coaching niche must have a burning desire to solve these problems so you must
find out how often they face these issues and what it is costing them not to
deal with the problem. The most frequent and the more costly or painful the
problem the more eager your coaching clients will be to seek a solution.

Show Me the Solution

Your product
needs to solve the problem or challenge that your target niche client faces.
Develop product that address the top three challenges or problems that your
coaching clients face and help the client arrive at a path for solution. Your
target niche may have several issues that need addressing so you must be careful
to focus on the challenges that are most painful.

Variety is Key

The same
solution will not fit all of your clients so you must offer a variety of
products at a variety of investment levels. Clients who are feeling some pain
will purchase products at a lower price level than those people that are in
extreme pain. You must provide your coaching client with options that fit their
level of need. Your products can vary in price and medium of delivery. Ebooks make great entry level products and they can be made more tempting when you represent them with an image. I use Ebook Cover Generator to make images of my ebooks. Teleseminars are great as higher priced products and I use Instant Teleseminars for all of my teleseminars and telecourses.
