5 Secrets to Attract Clients and

Build Your Business

Pick a niche or target market.

Marketing to a specific group for a coach means choosing a particular problem or challenge that you can help people solve or resolve.  When you target a specific group of people, you are able to serve them in a deeper way.  Targeting your market will help you connect better, develop better materials to help them, have less competition, become known as an expert, have more word of mouth advertising, and you will be able to target your marketing more cost effectively. If you have not chosen a target coaching niche then you need to get "Coaching Business Blast Off".

Discover the problems, challenges, pains, dreams, and desires of your niche.

What we think clients want or need is often not, what they want or need.  You should research your niche to make sure you have an accurate understanding of what they want and need.  Ask probing questions, conduct surveys, talk with potential clients, and explore the social media site to determine how you can best help your niche.

Develop workshops, special reports, teleclasses, and other high content products to show clients that you understand them and that you can help them.

Coaching is about relationship and to sell coaching you must be able to develop positive rapport with potential clients.  Giving away information through

workshops, reports, articles, and teleclasses helps you develop a positive relationship with potential clients and that will make it easy for them to coach with you.

Make your website a list-generating machine.

Most people that become coaches get a website right away but they do not make sure that the website is working to bring them new clients through free sessions and a growing contact list.  Make sure your website offers visitors a great reason to give you their name and email address so you can communicate with them and develop a coaching relationship.

Make sure your free session offer is irresistible and produces a profitable and beneficial coaching relationship.

Many coaches offer free introductory session but few get clients to sign up and pay for coaching.  Your free session offer must be appealing enough that clients cannot wait to take advantage of it and the free session must be designed to show clients what you can do for them as a coach.  The free session must give client a convincing taste of what coaching can do for them while creating the desire for more learning, change and growth.
