5 Things You Can Do Right Now to Get Coaching Clients
November 30, 2008
If you are a new coach that has not been able to get your business to the level you would like, you are not alone! Many coaches graduate from coaching school and hit road-blocks to getting their coaching business to the level that they can go full time. Here are five things
you can do now to jump-start your coaching business.
1)Pick a topic and write a 300-500 word article about that topic.
Your topic should educate, inform, or solve a problem for your target coaching niche. Write about the struggles that keep your target niche awake at night. Use the article as the basis of a 1/2 hour workshop that will identify their struggle, describe the pain caused by the struggle and offer possible solutions to the problem.
2) Offer to speak for free
to any group you can think of and send them a one-sheet ad telling them what you will speak about and how the audience will benefit from your workshop.
3) Join three networking groups and attend them regularly.
Prepare a brief introduction that tells them who you are, who you help and how you could help them.
4) Offer a free session to people in your circle of influence.
Write an email offering a free session and tell them that they can pass it on to a friend.
5) Give something away for fee on your website or blog.
Ask people to give you their name and email address in order to get the free gift.
